چکیده

PREFACE This manual describes how to use SAINF: a toolbox for analyzing the effect of infrastructural features on the distribution of point-like non-infrastructural features. SAINF is part of the results obtained from the six year (1998-2003) project entitled " Spatial Information Science for Human and Social Sciences " funded by the ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS We express our thanks to Exceed Co. Ltd. for developing the program SAINF and to Miki Arimoto for making the data of examples. NOTICE The authors distribute SAINF only to those who agree on the following conditions. 1. The user will use SAINF for nonprofit purposes only. 2. The authors will not bear responsibility for any trouble that the user may meet in the use of SAINF. 3. When the user uses SAINF, he/she will report to the authors his/her name, affiliation, address and e-mail address. 4. When the user publishes any results obtained by using SAINF, he/she will explicitly state in the paper that he/she used SAINF. Also, he/she will send a reprint of the paper to the authors. 5. The user will report to the authors any trouble he/she meets in the use of SAINF. (The authors will remove bugs, if any, at their earliest convenience.)

A WAVELET-BASED PROCEDURE FOR MINING OF PULSE-LIKE GROUND MOTIONS FEATURES ON RESPONSE SPECTRA

The main objective of this paper is to present a wavelet-based procedure to characterize principle features of a special class of motions called pulse-like ground motions. Initially, continues wavelet transform (CWT) which has been known as a powerful technique both in earthquake engineering and seismology field is applied easily in automated detecting of strong pulse of earthquakes. In this pr...

On the Structure of Metric-like Spaces

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce several concepts of the metric-like spaces. For instance, we define concepts such as equal-like points, cluster points and completely separate points. Furthermore, this paper is an attempt to present compatibility definitions for the distance between a point and a subset of a metric-like space and also for the distance between two subsets of a metr...

Umbilicity of (Space-Like) Submanifolds of Pseudo-Riemannian Space Forms

We study umbilic (space-like) submanifolds of pseudo-Riemannian space forms, then define totally semi-umbilic space-like submanifold of pseudo Euclidean space and relate this notion to umbilicity. Finally we give characterization of total semi-umbilicity for space-like submanifolds contained in pseudo sphere or pseudo hyperbolic space or the light cone.A pseudo-Riemannian submanifold M in (a...

Islamic Project Financing in Pakistan: Current Challenges and Opportunities Ahead

This study is related to an Islamic project financing with a major focus on investigating the role of Islamic finance in financing infrastructural development projects (toll roads, power plants, airports, and plants, as well as natural resource exploitation projects, such as hydroelectric dams, mining projects, oil and gas assets, and paper mills), especially in the context of Pakistan. Infrast...

Some results on coupled fixed point and fixed point theory in partially ordered probabilistic like (quasi) Menger spaces

In this paper, we define the concept of probabilistic like Menger (probabilistic like quasi Menger) space (briefly, PLM-space (PLqM-space)). We present some coupled fixed point and fixed point results for certain contraction type maps in partially order PLM-spaces (PLqM- spaces).
